# Alive.....ALIVE!-
Today was one of the worst days of entire life.
TERRIBLE.
Attachment was okay... definitely have to do work.... but its the boring factor that's slowly ebbing the enthusiasm of the job from me... I mean like... I was god-damn bored! I could drop dead due to boredom! Never before have I been to such a boring place to work!! OK maybe partly because the only other person working with me is a Chinese national (friendly person by the way... nice chap!) and he has a limited grasp on English, so its like I'm stuck with myself and Glenn Ong for the whole afternoon! Thank goodness Jo and Norman came to my rescue... I would probably just die there at the lathe machine...
OK lemme fill you in on my attachment... A metal parts fabrication company called Pan Asia Precision Engineering, just a small cozy little workshop, perhaps twice the size of a typical HDB house, filled with lathe machines and grinding machines and buffing machines from all over the world. There's also some CNC machines (for those of you that dunno this, it's just an automatic lathe machine), and I got to use it juz now. I started off sweeping the entire workshop, the call it housekeeping. Took me about 3 hours, den it was lunch time. I only had a pathetic 1/2 hour to eat. Wow. and when I went downstairs to find food, I found out that the malay stall was closed. So I bought bread and like a lost little boy I sat at the side to eat. den I went back and started omn the CNC machine thing... and den halfway the cutting tool got misaligned... and den the manager had to fix it.... not once but 5 TIMES! Interrupted my work a lot of times. And so there I was watching the machine do all the work, listening to Glenn Ong on Jive Drive on radio, and SMSing people to keep my sanity in check. I was dead bored. In the end I resorted to a few Toys R Us tactics... went to the toilet to read newspaper and juz get a nap or juz sit down and stare at the ceiling... the managers weren't there anyway... they were always out... god knows do wad.
Eventually 5.30 came and I ran out like the wind... went home and slogged on food and now typing in this. For all the people out there who is reading this:
MESSAGE ME AND KEEP ME COMPANY!!! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE BORED!
I seriously don't feel like continuing my attachment there... partly because the dust there is actually working up my asthma... I couldn't breathe a few times just now... I wonder if its possible to get a change....
And juz a note. There are no metal beams hanging from the ceiling. So I won't get crushed and die. End.
the story ends like this;
