This topic? Double meaning....wanna know why? Read on....
On Saturday went to Ferlynn's house (again) in the morning.....spent some good quality time with her....until her father came back that is.....her dad is a really ok guy....listens to Lin Jun Jie.....and when he saw me in the kitchen I just said hi and he was like hi too.....Haha.....Ferlynn was really afraid fireworks would blow....but nah.....didn't happen....which is a good thing for me too.....I left around 4.30 and went to PS meet Norman.....played a bit of Para and drums and Outrun 2....damn rusty ah.....can hear all the creaks in my bones playing those games....den after that the both of us headed to Cuppage to play pool.....I saw Yan Ling there with her permed hair...looks as cute as ever! Later on we went to Cine cuz got nothing to do....went to this new game shop (I forgot the name) and me and Norman played DOOM 3!!! THE GAME IS SO DAMN NICE LOR! but a word of warning:
DO NOT PLAY THE GAME IF YOU ARE A SCAREDY-CAT! (like me)
You have no idea how many times I stopped a scream from coming out of my mouth....its like playing House Of Dead 3....but only in 3D AND with more scary sounds....I already have the game at home....in fact gonna go straight to play it after this entry....BUT DAMN.....ITS SCARY LOR!
Sunday morning was pretty tame ah....Vacuumed the house (part of my house-husband training) and cleaned up my room.....den met up Ferlynn at her house (again) and den took a taxi down to visit her uncle at the Ren Chi Hospital down at Tan Tock Seng Road....if you've been there before you would know the kind of people that are hospitalized there.....but her uncle is anything but....he is veri intelligent....but a twist of fate turned him that way....I wun go into details....but it gives me enlightenment as to how easy God can take away what he has given you....
After that Ferlynn and I went down to Cine coz I wanted to buy this pair of shades....but I pulled out coz I found the designed unsuitable (read fickle-minded) den the both of us went to Heeren walk walk.....den walked towards PS (today lots of walking...), met Norman at the lift landing and went up to the arcade (I seriously have no life)....slacked there for a while at the same time waited for Terence and Pauline....Terence is damn rusty at Para....dunno wad happened to my si-fu....den all 5 of us went to Suntec....intended to meet P.C.C at Esplanade but when we reached there....it was like DAMN crowded....the bridge to Citylink was packed so we tried to find an alternative route...and failed! Anyway managed to squeeze thru to Esplanade half and hour later....haha....den met (or rather saw) P.C.C.....den we tried to find a nice place to see the fireworks.....which didn't disappoint!!! It was a myriad of red, blue, green and white.....the Hong Kong team did a great job of "wow"ing the spectators with their usage of colours and sparkle designs.....however after that whole thing was done, the ugly Singaporean reared its head again....crowd squeeze. I was this >>> >>> close to lashing out at the nearest guy who dared to push me and Ferlynn....especially this woman who was using her frame to her advantage...you can call me a barbarian or a non-gentlemen or wadeva crap.....but I juz used my frame to block...soccer style. She really pissed me off.....somewhere around there we lost sight of Pauline and Terence....couldn't even SMS thru coz the signals were jammed....on my way out also saw my 2nd favourite K Module gal Shuzhen (haha).....den Norman, Ferlynn and I made our way slowly (Cheryl and Cecilia stop smiling) to Marina Square....tyco-tyco saw Pauline and Terence....and den we went off to Yishun.
Pauline went home and Terence went off to meet his friends....so onli left the 3 of us....walked to Lestari and ate for a while....and while Norman ate a third helping of rice I sent Ferlynn home....The sweetest time to spend with your loved-one is when the both of you are all alone with nothing but the stars (and some kaypo HDB-dwellers) to look at you....anyway....sent her to her doorstep.....den later met Norman and went back home....
I had a really roller-coaster ride weekend....I hope my National Day would be a lot more low key... haha....
